CHINA WATERCOLOUR JOURNAL PAGES

I would love to learn how to make watercolours, so I can make my travel journals as pretty as the ones below! The artists in the examples I’ve found on Instagram have painted some iconic images from China, from red paper lanterns to the Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Army.

I also love how some watercolour pages feature life-like illustrations of buildings and restaurant facades encountered on the makers’ trips.

CHINA BULLET JOURNAL PAGES

I will never get tired of seeing examples of fun Bullet Journal page ideas, especially when they are specific to a country in the world! In these examples for Bullet Journal pages about China, I love the idea of creating a suitcase-images with text introduction to mark the start of the journal, as well as a graphic outline of a city.

And of course in your Bullet Journal, you can add trip-specific information such as an itinerary, a packing list, hotel info and things to see and do.

CHINA SCRAPBOOK PAGES

Scrapbooking is my favourite medium, because it’s so versatile. In the first example you can see how elaborate you can get using different types of colours, papers and embellishments. In the second example the page is a bit more simple, by using photo prints and some written and stamped text.

The third example shows a few (details) of scrapbook spreads for a China trip, using a cohesive colour scheme, many trip photos, museum tickets, and a short description of the activities and sights shown.

The bottom scrapbook pages are made in the Adventure Book (my favourite travel journal!) and you can see just how creative you can be when it comes to combining text and images in a one-page scrapbook.

CHINA ILLUSTRATED JOURNAL PAGES

We’re rounding this overview of China travel journal ideas up with another series of amazing illustrated pages, this time in combination with paper embellishments, a map of China, a stamp and added text. I love the ones where the background is brown paper, it looks so stunning!

The examples below show how beautiful full-page illustrations, and those combined with a written travel diary can be.
